This week in game writing

Fresh from GDC, I’ll be heading off to Boston to speak on serious games at the MIT Business in Gaming conference, then I’ll be hitting PAX East and speaking on narrative design for the IGDA.  If that weren’t enough, I’m visiting the ol’ alma mater to speak about careers in the game industry.  I’m just hoping my voice will be back in time.

The MIT Business in Gaming conference takes place in Boston on Thursday, March 10th.  In addition to my panel on serious games, the conference will offer a keynote speech by none other than Richard Bartle.  PAX East takes place Friday through Sunday and features a number of panels on different topics in games.  I’ll also be judging the Game Design Jam on Sunday, so be ready!

Here are some pics from Digital LA’s GDC party that I co-hosted.  You can play the “spot the real game developer” game.
